Clara Walnut Side Table

This Walnut slab was part of the 2014 Oso mudslide, fished out of the debris by volunteer rescue workers. Clara Walnut is often used more for eating its high quality nuts, rather than its wood, thus this piece is most likely uprooted from an old orchard during the mudslide. Clara Walnut is also know for its reddish highlights taking the fire like grains, famous to it’s family, to another level. The base is made of a reclaimed railroad tie and steel piping, with vertical grain Fir feet for stability.

*Wood is a natural resource and not every piece will be identical in appearance or character, variations are to be expected
